Lunch and Learn on April 23, 2019

Plan to join us for the next Lunch and Learn in our Dementia Perspectives series from 1:30 to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Five Points Center for Active Adults. Lisa Levine, Director of Education at Dementia Alliance of North Carolina, will speak on Making Each Day Meaningful. She will offer practical activity ideas and help attendees understand what it means to make something "meaningful" and "purposeful." A light lunch will be served. Lunch and Learn on June 11, 2019

Plan to join us for the next Lunch and Learn in our  Dementia Perspectives series from 1:30-2:30pm on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at the Five Points Center for Active Adults.    A panel of local experts will describe resources for each step of dementia which will include education and caregiver support, types of day programs, home care, residential care and end of life.   Speakers include:  Lisa Levine (Dementia Alliance), Mary Arthur (The Glade), Michael Boles (Total Life Centers) and Jennifer Link (TJCOG).   Light refreshments will be served.   Please RSVP to Elaine Whitford at The Center for Volunteer Caregiving at 919-460-0567 or ewhitford@ctrvolcare.org.
